Hi Missy, What an awesome collection of red photos! I sure enjoyed the tour. Hope you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly pulled out all the red in your town. I love the gate. Octopus - Pretty to look at, but I don't think I would eat it.
ReplyDeleteThe trucks are neat. I like the angle you got on them, and the first photo rocks.
Oh, that red tree is beautiful.
Thanks for another tour around your part of the world. I so love being able to travel around and see what others see through their eyes.
You make me feel like I am right there with you.
Assignment for next week - "Water" by Hensly in Hawaii.
Missy, WOW you really found alot of red in your town to show all of us. I love the red coca cola cooler, makes me think of a small music box I had as a kid shaped just like that! And the red tree is my favorite picture, the tree is just beautiful!! I saw a red tractor on the fields here yesterday while I was out shooting photos, but it got too far away from me and I was not able to get a good shot of it, other wise I would have had a tractor to offer up too. :-) Nice job on the shots this week!! You always come up with the most interesting things to share with us. Debby
ReplyDeleteI think I've decided that all the really brilliant reds come from the Far East...between you and Owl the reds are eye-popping. And yes, the trucks do have a hot wheely look.
ReplyDeleteWow... I didn't know Misawa could be so red! I'm guessing you went around town again while me & Ammil were in school! (I haven't seen some of these pictures before...) Ohh, and was the sky really red on the first picture?? Galing na po ni Mama ah!!
ReplyDeleteI like this post po ^-^*
I love the variety in you pictures. What an excellent and fun interpretation of the theme!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could try a dish of the red octopus. Great photos. You have a photographer's eye. Wish I was better at the hobby.
ReplyDeleteLove them all Missy!!!! I'm especially drawn to the Shinto gates. That octopus makes a lovely picture but, I'm not so sure that I could eat it.......ummmmm, I don't think that I could, lol.
ReplyDeleteI think the trees are Red Maples. You are so cute and funny my friend :)
Have a weekend filled with love, joy and laughter and.......

ReplyDeleteBeautiful work - I love how varied this set is.
ReplyDeleteYou really do take great pictures!
Does the barbecued octopus tastes as good as it looked?
ReplyDeleteSO fascinating ...I always enjoy our photos. Especially love the shrine gate.
ReplyDeleteThanks all for your comments, I didn't eat the octopus barbecue too...and the first photo I did "solarized" it :-) playing with the photo editor
ReplyDeleteI love the storage building shot, because of the red, the angles, the roof color, and the trees, which I think are maples.
ReplyDeleteYou've really been around town! My favourite is the red trees. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Hope you're enjoying the weekend. Come back tomorrow for more of Norwich!

Nice treatment of the sky in “Hair Prism”.
