Feb. 18, morning- our first stop in our 4 day trip, Ginza Shopping Area

Ginza is known as an upmarket area of Tokyo with many department stores, boutiques, restaurants and coffeehouses. It is recognized as one of the most luxurious shopping destinations in the world. Many upscale designers' stores are in Ginza, notably the Gucci Store.

We didn't spend much of our time in Ginza, (it's so expensive I didn't have enough budget to buy another Gucci bag lol), so we just looked for the Sanrio Gift Gate Store, for my daughter's request.

Directions from New Sanno Hotel (where we stayed at):

Take Hibiya Line from Hiro-o Station H-03, track #2 get off at Ginza station, H-08 ( 5 stops)
Fare is
-->¥ 160

Hi Missy,
The place really looks super expensive noting the tall buildings just for Gucci and Hermes collections..

Wow, everything looks so grand and clean.

Hello Kitty is really popular in Japan, huh? I don't understand the craziness for it LOL.

Joy- there is still Little Twin Star and even My Melody :-)

2L3Bs- yes the place is really expensive and that's why I didn't go to gucci...it's so tempting lol

halfcrazy- I don't understand too why hello kitty is very popular but Japan named Hello Kitty as the ambassador of Japanese tourism in China and Hong Kong
