Planting of Rice, Misawa







Finally, rice were planted!!!

Watched the video: Wow that is so efficient! One guy can plant acres of rice on his own. I guess I'm used to how it's done here in the Philippines... all by hand.

When I was in Japan in 1953, the rice was plowed with oxen or horses and planted by hand. The rows of rice were not perfectly straight but the crops harvested were great.
